Before the dawn, she was the one that I dreamed of.
Dim at the start, the landscape was stark until I saw her.
Reading her face in the distance...a quest to be blessed by the twilight. Reflecting the light on her dark eyes, the sirens would scream from the window.
Back to the flesh, my heart is still beating with an emptiness.
Ribcage serenade still eclipsing, conviction burns as twin to the flame again.
Into the night, she was the one that I searched for.
Kindred to the thoughts, I'd think without loss until I found her.
Awaiting that fateful instance, crashing on rocks as I sank into sleep. Lifting the veil that divides us, the memory is so real in a thin mask. Under the flesh, my heart is still beating with an emptiness.
