Sainthood Expired

Corpses born to enter storms, have risen numb to feel all pain.
Beyond the sanctuary of their core, they lie with gods and cons, and lose love's game.
Every second in the grave is fading elder names.
People trading races sell a younger day.
From the cradles, in the dark comes another son, and the daughters of the dawn are dying just to run and get out.
Spirit out. Cast it out, free of doubt.
There's a devil in the house of a fallen king, scratching in the walls and teaching flesh to sing.
In each and every prayer pumps a menacing beat, possessing and redressing until blind faith is six feet deep.
Spirit out. Cast it out. Stars go out above the city lights.
A corpse is born to enter storms and get out.
Here to laugh and scream and murder dreams and get out.
In the belly of the beast rots a sermon for the devout.
Stolen from the pages, the source of sages torn out.
With no law or eyes, just tooth for tooth.
So many soul loss smiles are biting against the direction of any truth. Oh no...Truth is out. Cast it out.
Writing, thriving, writhing with snakes, in another fucking language, with a gun that speaks.
Riding, dying, writhing with saints while another fucking demon sneaks right in there place to believe.

Lycanthropy
03:31
|
|||
The rose of my veins, it was blooming red with thorns.
Piercing the sky from the depths of my core.
As the wings of Icarus caught heat and fell, I fell into a sea of tears and sweat and blood to drown...all night.
Coming down fast from some divine heights, lightning flashed and I'm missing time.
Too fast to live and I'm too numb to cry.
History repeats and I go for the ride.
Wax and wane, addicted to change.
First came love and then came the pain.
The rites of Spring lead to pleasures of flesh, then onto the rush of feeling nothing.
I sink to the sound of my grinding teeth, venerating with some grim techniques.
Wolves at the door call me out for some gore, then I'm back on the prowl and I'm looking for more...all night.
Coming down fast from some divine heights, lightning flashed and I'm missing time.
Too fast to live and I'm too numb to cry.
History repeats and I go for the ride.
Evil lives in the skull that's blind.
Mirror of my face, I can't recognize.
Portrait is void. No memory.
The curse I embrace...Lycanthropy.

Memento Mori
04:57
|

Deep in the desert, in an altered state, I'm being torn into dust
by the laws and the jaws of the jungle, all dry and seeking blood full of drugs.
This shaved skull of light's burning hot from hate and it's born from tomes read alone.
Soon death will shield sight and steal nights from these broke mystic bones, whiskey soaked.
Mystic bones of ritual cross out.
In fear of silence just around the bend, the signs of cities are showing dread.
Within the coffin inside of my head, the holy spirit has made its bed. When I move forward to discover a home, I find no angels where I roam.
Just smoke and mirrors and a vagabond wraith,
led back to the streets I've haunted long before bones would wallow. Game to go, go among the hollow.
Heart shaped graves, bones wait to follow.
Left behind blank until tomorrow.
I've been my habit but what have I become.
My headshot flickers with a shadow.
Escaped from Eden to enter a prison.
The cell so still until the whispers swore of talking snakes and primal rattles that shake.
The edge of sanity was born to blur, speeding to nowhere with the softest kiss, to crave sick sex a little longer.
Long before, bones would wallow.
Game to go, go among the hollow.
Heart shaped graves, bones wait to follow.
Left behind blank until tomorrow.
We're long gone and here to go.

Terminus
04:22
|
|||
Ripped up pictures strewn around, cut like scenes that were unsound. Venom seeped into each event, poisoning every image kept.
In the circuitry of my heart, beat a language armed with claws,
and I heard it loud and clear as the scream of love.
Time became a snake when it was too late.
For us, Terminus.
Turn of fortune, turn of page.
Turned my head and hid your name.
Shedding skin of who I've been, I became a skeleton.
Now I'm burning the things you left and my cover's growing thin.
There's a darkness down within, it's a grave for love.
Time became a snake by the crystal lake.
For us, Terminus.
World of bones is born to spin, around the sun and back again.
Trade my face with harlequin, frowning mouth behind a grin.
Life was on the cusp.
Felt that frozen lust like the reaper's touch.
This is Terminus.
Time became a snake when it was too late by the silver lake.
There was no escape.
For us, Terminus. This is Terminus.

Void Of Taurus
04:06
|
|||
In the words that you decide, kill the Spring with a smile...
Grinning teeth for the lost dawn.
Then I'll wait for the final answer inside...it opens up to lose.
We were the silver of my sky.
Wrapped the wires...then cables collect dust...water comes down, stipples all my friends...
and I wait for the shadow coming down in my pit...
and I'm waiting for the violence to expose...
and I'm waiting for the violence to explode.
Without hate, I'm exposed to the world without a cause.
You're beautiful but I cannot see.

Factotum
01:43
|
|||
Rebel within, see it through skin.
Not who I've been, you can't comprehend.
You say I changed, you stayed the same.
This is the end, begin again.
Undo the drag, discard the master and the fear of domination.

The Outskirts Of Heaven
02:27
|
|||
Splitting with indifference in my costumes of diseases.
Braiding all my options with the hair of laughing bitches.
The anger of this entry describes my factual feelings, dirty as a spirit on the outskirts of heaven...
baptizing the headless on the outskirts of heaven.
Only child, shrinking town.
Knock on wood, coffin sounds.
I see the light fade.
Hollywood's a graveyard, and I'm digging up my surname.
High rise blocks the vision and I'm voyeur to the billions.
Embedded Santeria flickers candles in the mansion, desperate from below on the outskirts of heaven...
spells out holy terror on the outskirts of heaven.
Rest in peace on the knees.
Happy home, sign the lease.
I saw the light fade my fall under heavy wings.
The space between is not quite what it seems.

Rib Cage Serenade
05:31
|
|||
Before the dawn, she was the one that I dreamed of.
Dim at the start, the landscape was stark until I saw her.
Reading her face in the distance...a quest to be blessed by the twilight. Reflecting the light on her dark eyes, the sirens would scream from the window.
Back to the flesh, my heart is still beating with an emptiness.
Ribcage serenade still eclipsing, conviction burns as twin to the flame again.
Into the night, she was the one that I searched for.
Kindred to the thoughts, I'd think without loss until I found her.
Awaiting that fateful instance, crashing on rocks as I sank into sleep. Lifting the veil that divides us, the memory is so real in a thin mask. Under the flesh, my heart is still beating with an emptiness.
Ribcage serenade still eclipsing, conviction burns as twin to the flame. Eros shoots, arrows marked, into bleeding chest...
and the stars of all I've been begins to fade.
Changing of tides, crosses our lives on the other side.
Aurora's warmth seems far away, yet it seems so close.
Time to wake up, to keep on breathing.
Time to wake up, no more deceiving.
Time to wake up, go on believing.
Time to wake up, to end the dreaming.
Time to wake up.

Rabbit Snare
03:54
|
|||
Scratched away the plaster of disasters that are cold.
Pulled on back the curtains to reveal a broken mold.
Underneath the surface is an itch that always calls,
Bullet in the chamber, innate danger, and the touch of evils claw.
I'm facing two nightmares.
One is raging toward the orchard, the other constricts air.
Under Summer shroud, in the rabbit snare, sources from the shattered ages break faith beyond repair...kicking out the chair.
Went the way of crossbones at the crossroads with a song.
Sold some apparitions and I stared into the sun.
All along the beaten trail were old missing person signs,
crowning roaming fables on the strangers who survived.
Serenity disturbed, I'm facing two nightmares.
One is raging toward the orchard, the other constricts air.
Under Summer shroud, in the rabbit snare, sources from the shattered ages break faith beyond repair...kicking out the chair.
Deep down in the drama mine, grabbed the gold to buy some lines. Deep down in this dream of mine, I traded the muse for a lone design...out of time.

Final Entrance
03:01
|
|||
Disappearer seems to fade faster than a trend.
Tattooed tales lay in his wake with the ghost of innocence.
The great unknown in his suitcase, with an image of a rose.
He wandered out with no belief to scatter with debris.
Aura catching spider webs, spreading out as soft confusion with teeth. Sinking in and letting go, he closed his eyes to disappear.
Stretching reasons like Rimbaud, under earth and over bone.
He is visible to none, rewriting story lines.
Sketching life like a charade to shed his Catholic sky.
Memories have turned to stone with the darker shades of rain.
No more talk of Final Entrance.
No more sense of near illusion with veils.
No more new home in a new town.
No more lust for loveless fusions.
No more hive mind of delusion.
No more thrust of fear intrusion.
No more backwards evolution.
No more threat of false solutions.
No more twisted constitution...
He disappeared to dream alone.

Transmigration
02:10
|
|||
You are the river of holy blood, flowing as medicine through my icy exterior.
There are sparkling caves in your crystal eyes.
All is warm now in the quiet mystery that I have always wanted to solve.

Blood Wisdom Los Angeles, California
Blood Wisdom began in 1998 in New Jersey. Though originally conceived as a solo project for Eaden Rosvein Palmer's sound collages, it would eventually evolve into a band featuring longtime member Ed Dymek and a changing lineup of collaborators. Over the years, the band has explored and blended many genres, unified by poetic lyrics, surreal album/flyer artwork, and transgressive live performances. ... more
